This study looks at using low-dose CT scans to check for lung cancer in people who have lost some weight without a clear reason. The goal is to see if screening can find lung cancer early in this group.

Who can take part
- You are between 50 and 80 years old
- You have smoked at least 20 pack-years (for example, one pack a day for 20 years)
- You have lost 3% to 10% of your body weight in the past 18 months, and the weight loss is not due to a known medical condition
- Your doctor expects you to live for more than a year
- You are not pregnant or trying to become pregnant
- You have not had a CT scan of your chest in the past year
- You have never had lung cancer
- You are not currently being checked for a possible cancer
