Who can take part
- You have a septal accessory pathway (a tiny extra wire in your heart that can cause fast heartbeats), whether the pathway is obvious on an EKG or hidden.
- You are scheduled to have an electrophysiology study and ablation in the cardiology department at Assiut University Heart Hospital.
- You have not had a failed ablation or repeat procedure for this same pathway before.
- You do not have more than one extra pathway in your heart.
- You do not have a heart defect you were born with or any other structural heart disease.
