Study of AION-301 for chronic kidney disease

Who can take part

  • You are between 35 and 75 years old.
  • You have chronic kidney disease stage 3, with a certain level of kidney function and protein in your urine.
  • You are already taking standard kidney-protective medications (like ACE inhibitors, ARBs, or SGLT2 inhibitors) at a stable dose for at least 3 months, unless you cannot take them.
  • You are not pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding, and agree to use effective birth control if applicable.
  • You have not had an organ transplant, cancer (except some skin cancers) in the last 5 years, or certain heart conditions.
  • You do not have severe obesity (BMI under 35), uncontrolled diabetes (HbA1c below 8.5%), or a history of blood clots.
