Who can take part
- Your child must have a diagnosis of spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy (CP) which affects one side of the body more than the other.
- Your child's muscle tightness (spasticity) should be mild (grade 1 to 1+ on a standard scale).
- Your child must be between 4 and 10 years old.
- Your child should be able to walk without help or with just a little help (levels 1 or 2 on the gross motor function scale).
- Your child must not have a permanent deformity in the arm or hand, or any vision or hearing problems.
- Your child should not have had Botox injections in the arm or hand in the last 6 months, or surgery on the wrist or hand.
