Heart MRI stress test for Fontan circulation

Who can take part

  • You have had the Fontan operation (also called total cavo-pulmonary connection) for a heart condition.
  • You feel generally well with no more than slight limits on physical activity (NYHA class I or II).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You do not have a pacemaker or implantable defibrillator (ICD).
  • You do not have advanced kidney failure (GFR less than 30).
  • You do not have atrial fibrillation, and you are not pregnant (if applicable).
