Who can take part
- You have a trigger finger that is grade 2 or 3 (which means it clicks or gets stuck sometimes but you can still straighten it with help or on your own).
- Your trigger finger has been bothering you for at least 3 months.
- You have not had any treatment for your trigger finger (like hand therapy, a steroid shot, or surgery) in the past 3 months.
- You do not have any other hand or nerve problems, and you don't have trigger finger in more than one finger.
- You do not have conditions like cancer, epilepsy, an infection in the hand, or a pacemaker (which would prevent shockwave therapy).
