Who can take part

  • You have a lung nodule that is between 1 cm and 3 cm (about the size of a pea to a walnut) and is suspicious for cancer.
  • You are scheduled for a bronchoscopy to find out if the nodule is cancer.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You are not taking blood thinners that cannot be safely paused before the procedure.
  • You are not allergic to fluorescein (a dye used to see the cells).
