Pain relief study for nerve injury pain

This trial tests how well two types of peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) devices relieve chronic pain caused by a single nerve injury. It looks for people who already have a referral for PNS therapy as part of their usual care and who have gotten at least 50% relief from a diagnostic nerve block.

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older with nerve pain in one arm, leg, lower back, or pelvis that has lasted at least 6 months.
  • You need to have already been referred for or have an order for a PNS device (like Nalu or SPRINT) before joining this study.
  • A nerve block at the painful spot must have reduced your pain by at least half.
  • You must be able to read, write, and speak English and complete online surveys.
  • You must be willing to avoid certain activities and substances (like alcohol, nicotine, and some pain meds) before testing sessions.
