  • Be scheduled for elective upper limb surgery with a planned brachial plexus nerve block
  • Not have certain medical conditions, such as bleeding disorders, infections, or significant neuropathy
  • Not be pregnant or incarcerated
  • Not have a body mass index (BMI) over 35
