Antioxidant activity in eye surgery patients

This trial looks at antioxidant levels and stress in people having either corneal refractive surgery or cataract surgery. If you are having one of these eye surgeries and do not have an eye infection, severe retinal disease, or a serious eye injury, you may be eligible to join.

  • You are at least 20 years old.
  • You are scheduled for corneal refractive surgery (like LASIK) or cataract surgery.
  • You do not have an active eye infection.
  • You do not have severe retinal disease.
  • You do not have a severe eye injury or severe drooping of the eyelid (ptosis).
