Studying improved vision lenses for cataract patients

This trial tests new enhanced monofocal intraocular lenses (special lens implants) to see if they improve vision after cataract surgery. It is for people with age-related cataracts in both eyes who are otherwise healthy.

Study of a toric lens for cataract with astigmatism

This study tests a special lens implant (toric lens) for people having cataract surgery who also have astigmatism. The lens corrects both the cataract and the astigmatism, potentially giving you clearer distance vision without glasses.

Comparing two multifocal lens implants for cataract surgery

This study compares two types of multifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) used during cataract surgery to improve vision at multiple distances. It is for people with cataracts in both eyes who have not had previous eye surgery.

Study of vision with advanced cataract lenses

This trial tests how well different artificial lens implants (intraocular lenses) work for people having cataract surgery. The goal is to understand which types of lenses provide the best vision for daily activities.

Cataract surgery lens registry study

This trial is a registry for people having cataract surgery in both eyes. It collects information on different types of artificial lenses used to improve vision, and follows up to see how well they work.

Multifocal lens eye surgery: compare results in both eyes

This trial compares outcomes from multifocal intraocular lenses (artificial lenses that help with focusing) after cataract surgery on both eyes. It may help show whether these lenses give better vision compared with other expectations after surgery.
