Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You must have a diagnosis of high-grade changes or very early cancer in the inner layer of the stomach (confirmed by biopsy).
  • The cancer must not have grown deep into the stomach wall or spread to lymph nodes.
  • You must be healthy enough to safely undergo general anesthesia and surgery.
  • You cannot have had previous stomach cancer treatments that changed the shape of your stomach.
