- You have a growth (neoplasm) in your colon or rectum that has been confirmed by a biopsy and is scheduled for removal by endoscopy (ESD).
- The growth does not show signs of deep invasion into the bowel wall or spread to lymph nodes.
- You do not have a serious medical condition that would make anesthesia or surgery risky.
- You have not had radiation or surgery for colorectal cancer that changed your colon's structure.
- You have not had a growth come back after a previous endoscopic removal.
