Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have a small (1 to 3 cm) tumor in the upper part of your stomach that is likely a GIST (a type of connective tissue tumor).
  • You are in generally good health (classified as ASA I-III).
  • You have not had stomach surgery or radiation therapy in the past.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and do not have a bleeding disorder.
  • You are willing to come back for follow-up visits.
