- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have a small (1 to 3 cm) tumor in the upper part of your stomach that is likely a GIST (a type of connective tissue tumor).
- You are in generally good health (classified as ASA I-III).
- You have not had stomach surgery or radiation therapy in the past.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and do not have a bleeding disorder.
- You are willing to come back for follow-up visits.
