Who can take part
- Your child must be between 4 and 7 years old.
- The affected tooth must be a lower baby molar with a deep cavity that has reached the nerve and is causing pain (irreversible pulpitis).
- The gums around the tooth must be healthy – no swelling, no tenderness when touched, and no pain when tapping the tooth.
- X-rays must show no signs of infection at the root tip or where the roots split, and no damage to the root or surrounding bone.
- Your child should be cooperative enough for dental treatment, have no serious medical conditions, and be able to attend follow-up visits.
