Who can take part
- Your child must be between 4 and 7 years old and be willing to cooperate with the dentist.
- The tooth must be a lower second baby molar (back tooth) that is still restorable.
- The tooth should have symptoms of irreversible pulpitis (deep, lingering pain from hot or cold).
- X-rays must show no infection around the root tips or between the roots, and no abnormal root damage.
- Your child should be in good general health with no serious medical or mental conditions.
- No swelling, pain when tapping on the tooth, or mobility of the tooth.
