Who can take part

  • You are 19 years old or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (an irregular, often fast heartbeat).
  • You are scheduled to have a catheter ablation (a procedure to fix the heart’s electrical signals) within the next 3 months.
  • You have not had a catheter ablation before.
  • You do not have a pacemaker, implantable defibrillator, or other implanted electronic heart device.
