  • Be a healthy adult between 18 and 75 years old
  • Have veins that are easy to see for blood draws
  • Be willing to keep your diet and lifestyle steady, eat a bland breakfast on visit days, and avoid exercise, supplements, caffeine, and electronic devices during clinic visits
  • Not have had major stomach or intestinal surgery (appendix or gallbladder removal is okay)
  • Not take daily anti-inflammatory medications or antipsychotic drugs
  • Not have intense stress, irregular sleep, be in intensive athletic training, or have anxiety about needles
