Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- You had a stroke caused by a clot (ischemic stroke) within the last 48 hours
- Your stroke symptoms are moderate to severe but not extremely severe (NIHSS score between 6 and 20)
- You did not receive clot-busting drugs or procedures after the stroke started
- You have not used certain stroke medications like Edaravone or Butylphthalide since the stroke began
- You have no major kidney or liver problems, uncontrolled blood pressure, or serious heart conditions
