- You are 50 to 60 years old.
- You have frozen shoulder in one arm only, and it is in stage 2 (painful and stiff for more than one month).
- Your shoulder movement is limited in a specific pattern (turning out, lifting to the side, and turning in).
- You have lost more than half of the normal passive range of motion in your shoulder.
- You do not have a rotator cuff tear, shoulder dislocation, recent fracture, or prior surgery on that shoulder.
