Who can take part

  • You are between 45 and 80 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's disease (not another form of parkinsonism).
  • Your medications for Parkinson's and other conditions have been stable for at least 4 weeks before starting the study.
  • You are willing to avoid deep brain stimulation (DBS) or other surgical treatments for Parkinson's during the study.
  • You are able to have an MRI scan and lie still for about 2-3 hours.
  • You do not have major brain issues like tumors, significant bleeding, or non-MRI compatible metal implants.
