Who can take part

  • You are between 9 and 15 years old.
  • You have a back tooth (molar) that is still growing and has an open tip.
  • That tooth has an infection at its root (called apical periodontitis).
  • The tooth is not planned for a crown or bridge later.
  • You have not taken antibiotics, pain relievers, or anti-inflammatory medicines in the past two weeks.
