  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have a tooth with an ongoing infection at the root tip that has not healed with other treatments
  • You are in good overall health (no serious medical conditions that might affect surgery)
  • The tooth's filling or crown is intact and not leaking
  • You are not taking certain bone medications (oral or IV bisphosphonates) and do not have a suspected root fracture
