Who can take part
- Your body mass index (BMI) must be between 30 and 50.
- You must have moderate to severe fatty liver (stage 2 or 3), with or without scarring.
- You cannot have type 1 diabetes.
- You must drink less than about 1 drink per day (women) or 2 drinks per day (men).
- You cannot have taken weight-loss medications or had weight-loss surgery in the last 3 months.
