New sensor for continuous blood sugar monitoring

Who can take part

  • Must be between 21 and 75 years old.
  • Have type 1 or type 2 diabetes and take at least 3 insulin shots a day or use an insulin pump.
  • Your most recent blood sugar test (A1c) must be below 9% in the last 3 months.
  • Must be willing to stay in the hospital for up to 5 days and check your blood sugar up to 7 times a day.
  • Must be willing to wear a glucose sensor and carry a phone provided by the study.
