Finding the best dose of pyrotinib for first-line advanced HER2 breast cancer

Who can take part

  • Your breast cancer must be HER2-positive (a type that grows quickly but can be treated with targeted therapy).
  • Your cancer has come back (recurrent) or spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) and cannot be surgically removed.
  • You have not had any prior systemic cancer treatment for this stage of the disease (except possibly trastuzumab in early-stage treatment).
  • Your overall health is good (ECOG score 0 or 1) and your organs work well, such as normal blood counts and heart function (LVEF ≥50% measured by echocardiogram).
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old and willing to use effective birth control during the study if needed.
