Who can take part
- You are female and between 18 and 70 years old
- Your breast cancer is stage II or III, and it can be removed with surgery
- Your tumor must be HER2-positive on lab testing (either IHC 3+ or IHC 2+ confirmed by FISH)
- You have at least one measurable tumor spot on scans
- No prior cancer treatment for this breast cancer (no chemo, radiation, targeted therapy, or biologic therapy)
- Your heart function is strong enough: left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) is 55% or higher
