Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have colon or rectal cancer that has spread to your liver.
- Your liver is generally healthy (Child-Pugh grade A).
- The part of your liver that will be left after surgery is not big enough—less than 30% of the total (or less than 40% if you have some liver problems).
- You do not have other cancers that cannot be removed (except possibly some spots in the lungs).
- You are well enough for a major surgery (ECOG score 0 or 1).
