Who can take part

  • You are 2 years old or older.
  • You are having surgery for a burn, reattached finger, or broken bone in your arm, hand, or wrist.
  • You will get either a numbing nerve block plus general anesthesia, or general anesthesia alone.
  • You are in good health or have mild to moderate health problems (ASA class I, II, or III).
  • You can cooperate with the procedure and are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
