Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) based on Rome IV criteria.
  • You also have a diagnosis of anxiety disorder or major depression.
  • You are scheduled for a colonoscopy.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 15 and 30.
  • You are in generally good physical health (ASA I or II).
