3D ultrasound imaging after brain bleed

Subarachnoid Hemorrhage

Part of Brain & nervous system, Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This trial tests a new 3D ultrasound technique to see if it can better visualize blood flow in the brain after a subarachnoid hemorrhage (bleeding around the brain). It may help doctors monitor and treat patients more effectively.

  • You have had a subarachnoid hemorrhage (bleeding around the brain) from a specific type of aneurysm in the front part of your brain.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a clear ultrasound window through the side of your head so the test can work.
  • You are not allergic to the ultrasound contrast agent Sonovue.
