Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • You had a spontaneous brain bleed (not from injury or other causes)
  • The bleed is in the upper part of your brain, not in the back or deep in the ventricles
  • The size of the bleed is less than 30 mL
  • You can be enrolled within 48 to 72 hours after the bleeding started
  • You are not scheduled for surgery to remove the bleed
