  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have a planned (not emergency) heart surgery scheduled
  • You are admitted to the cardiac surgery unit at Rennes University Hospital
  • You are not currently taking daily anti-anxiety medication
  • You do not have a psychiatric condition, memory problems, or a serious brain disorder
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
