Who can take part

  • Your child has a hemangioma (a red birthmark made of extra blood vessels) that is ulcerated (has an open sore)
  • Your child is being treated with propranolol by mouth
  • Your child has not had other treatments for this ulcerated hemangioma
  • Your child can take oral propranolol and does not have a condition that makes it unsafe, like a very slow heartbeat, asthma, or an allergy to propranolol
  • Your family is willing to participate and follow the study plan
