Stopping propranolol for infantile hemangioma: gradual vs. sudden stop

Who can take part

  • Your child has been diagnosed with infantile hemangioma (a type of birthmark caused by blood vessels).
  • Your child has taken oral propranolol for at least 6 months.
  • The hemangioma is completely or nearly completely gone, with no active blood flow, and has been stable for at least 3 months.
  • The doctor has full records, including photos and/or ultrasound results from before treatment.
  • You are willing and able to bring your child to follow-up visits as scheduled.
