Who can take part

  • You have shoulder pain from an injury or without a known cause
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have not had past surgery on your rotator cuff tendons
  • You do not have calcium deposits in your shoulder tendons seen on prior scans
  • You have no medical reason that prevents you from having an MRI, like a pacemaker
