Magnetic therapy for urine leaks after prostate surgery
Part of Kidney & urinary clinical trials.
This trial tests a non-invasive magnetic treatment (HIFEM) to help men with urine leaks after prostate cancer removal (radical prostatectomy) or HoLEP surgery. The goal is to see if it improves bladder control and quality of life.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You are a male
- Had prostate removal (radical prostatectomy) or a special prostate surgery called HoLEP
- You have leaking urine at least one month after prostate removal surgery
- You can make your own medical decisions and fill out questionnaires

This trial tests a noninvasive magnetic chair treatment to help men who leak urine after having their prostate removed robotically. The goal is to strengthen pelvic floor muscles and reduce or stop leakage.
This trial studies whether applying an external magnetic treatment (magnetic stimulation), doing pelvic floor muscle exercises, or doing both together can reduce urinary leakage after radical prostatectomy. The goal is to find which approach works best for men recovering bladder control after prostate cancer surgery.
This study tests whether a special chair called Emsella—which uses electromagnetic stimulation to strengthen pelvic floor muscles—can reduce urine leakage after a specific type of prostate surgery called HOLEP. You would sit in the chair for 30-minute sessions to see if it helps with post-surgery incontinence.
This study tests whether a non-invasive electromagnetic chair treatment can help women over 65 who leak urine daily. It may strengthen pelvic floor muscles without the need for surgery or coaching.
This trial tests a non-invasive treatment called HIFEM (High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic Therapy) to strengthen pelvic floor muscles and reduce urine leaks in women aged 40-70. It may help if you have stress, urge, or mixed incontinence.
This study tests a non-invasive treatment for urinary incontinence in women. It uses magnetic pulses to strengthen pelvic floor muscles. If you leak urine when you cough or sneeze, this treatment might help.
