  • Your surgery will use a head-down or head-up body position.
  • You will be on a ventilator (breathing machine) during surgery, using one of the common breathing modes.
  • You have no major heart, lung, or brain problems.
  • You are not on blood thinners or have a bleeding disorder.
  • You are able to understand and follow the study instructions.
