Plate over nail for fragile thigh bones

Who can take part

  • You have weak bones (osteoporosis) with a deformity in your thigh bone.
  • OR you have osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease) or rickets from vitamin D deficiency.
  • You are fully grown (skeletally mature).
  • You are currently receiving medical treatment for your condition.
  • You have no allergies to the study medications, no nerve/muscle disease, and no previous injury or surgery to your leg.
