Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with ampullary cancer and had it completely removed by surgery within the last 12 weeks.
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are generally able to take care of yourself (WHO performance status 0 or 1, or 0 if over 75).
- You have not received chemotherapy before surgery for this cancer.
- Your blood tests show normal kidney, liver, and mineral levels, and your CA19.9 level is below 180 U/L.
- You must agree to use effective contraception if there is any chance of pregnancy.
