Who can take part
- You must be at least 12 years old.
- If you are under 19, you must either not smoke or vape at all, or use only e-cigarettes (no tobacco smoking in the last 6 months).
- If you are 19 or older, you can be a non-smoker/non-vaper, a smoker who never vaped, a vaper who never smoked, or a current user of both.
- You cannot have used cannabis smoking in the last month or have a history of heavy cannabis smoking (more than 1 joint-year).
- You cannot have a chronic lung disease like asthma, cystic fibrosis, or lung cancer (adults only for cancer).
- You must be able to do breathing and exercise tests.
