Starch powder to reduce bleeding in prostate surgery

  • You are between 45 and 68 years old.
  • You have prostate cancer and will have robot-assisted prostate removal.
  • Your surgeon plans to spare the nerves around your prostate (on one or both sides).
  • You have good bladder control before surgery (no leakage).
  • Your erectile function score before surgery is between 8 and 16 (moderate to mild impairment).
