Comparing two drugs for headache after spinal anesthesia in C-section

Who can take part

  • You are a woman who recently had a planned C-section under spinal anesthesia (not emergency).
  • You are between 18 and 35 years old.
  • You have a postpartum headache that your doctor rates as at least a 4 on a 0–10 pain scale and scores 2 or higher on the Lybecker headache scale.
  • You do not have high blood pressure caused by pregnancy (preeclampsia).
  • You do not have asthma or a history of asthma, migraines, or trigeminal neuralgia (a nerve pain condition).
  • You did not have heavy bleeding after delivery or need general anesthesia or a failed spinal block.
