Who can take part
- You are a first-time mother (having your first baby).
- You plan to breastfeed your baby.
- You are between 18 and 35 years old.
- You are pregnant with only one baby (no twins or more).
- You do not have serious health problems or pregnancy complications.
- Your baby is born at full term (37 weeks or later), weighs at least 5.5 pounds, has a healthy Apgar score, and does not need special care in the neonatal unit.
