Who can take part

  • You are between 1 and 10 years after a liver transplant
  • You take tacrolimus and do not take steroids as part of your anti-rejection medicines
  • You do not have autoimmune liver disease or a history of recent rejection
  • You have good kidney function (eGFR at least 40) and normal liver enzyme levels
  • You are up to date on vaccinations and have no active infections (like TB, HIV, or hepatitis)
  • You are not pregnant, do not use estrogen-based birth control, and have no history of blood clots or certain genetic disorders
