  • Your doctor plans to give you amino acid supplements (special nutrients) during your dialysis.
  • You do not have liver failure (your liver is not working).
  • You do not have a muscle disease (like muscular dystrophy).
  • You do not have a neurodegenerative disease (like Parkinson's or ALS).
