Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have stable chest pain or a recent heart attack (not the most severe type).
  • You are scheduled for a heart catheterization or stenting procedure.
  • You have a pulse that can be felt at both the standard and lower wrist sites.
  • If you've had a wrist artery procedure before, a special test shows your artery is still open.
