Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 85 years old.
- You have a pulse in both the wrist (standard access) and the thumb-side wrist (distal access).
- You provide written consent to participate.
- Your thumb-side wrist artery must be between 1.0 mm and 2.0 mm in size (checked by ultrasound).
- You are shorter than 185 cm (about 6 feet 1 inch).
- You do not have a current heart attack, shock, unstable blood pressure, or certain blood or circulation disorders.
