Who can take part

  • You are getting a new pacemaker or ICD with wires that screw into your heart muscle.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You are not getting a leadless pacemaker or a subcutaneous ICD (one placed under the skin without wires in the heart).
  • You are not having a previously placed pacemaker or ICD wire moved to a new spot.
