Testing a Chinese thinking assessment after brain injury

This study tests a new Chinese version of the LOTCA scale, a test that checks thinking and memory skills, in people who have had a traumatic brain injury. If you join, you'll help doctors learn if this test works well for assessing brain function after injury.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have had a traumatic brain injury
  • Your score on a standard thinking and memory test (MMSE) is below the normal cutoff for your education level
  • You are not currently in a coma, severely drowsy, or in a persistent vegetative state
  • You do not have severe problems with language or with using both hands
  • You agree to take part and can sign a consent form
